Verdle is a word puzzle platform operated by Jedcal LLC. By accessing or using Verdle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.

2. Service Description

Verdle provides a word puzzle platform with both free and potentially premium features. Free users have access to daily puzzles and basic gameplay. We reserve the right to introduce limitations on certain features for free accounts, including but not limited to: verdle puzzle creation limits, access to historical puzzles, advanced statistics, or other premium features. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service without notice.

3. Accounts

Creating an account allows you to save progress and access additional features. Free accounts may have limitations on certain features. Premium accounts, if offered, will have access to enhanced features and capabilities. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Email Communications

By creating an account or providing your email, you consent to receive service-related and promotional emails. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us at playverdle@gmail.com. Service-related emails necessary for your account cannot be opted out of.

5. Free and Premium Features

Verdle offers a free tier with core gameplay features. We may introduce premium subscriptions or paid features that provide additional benefits such as unlimited verdle puzzles, advanced statistics, ad-free experience, early access to features, or other enhancements. Free features may be modified, limited, or moved to premium tiers at our discretion. If you choose to purchase premium features, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Prices and features may change with notice. Refunds, if offered, will be at our sole discretion unless required by law.

6. Third-Party Advertising

Verdle may display advertisements from third-party ad networks such as Google Ads. These ads may be targeted based on non-personally identifiable information, as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or linked websites.

7. User Conduct

By using Verdle, you agree not to:

• Post hateful, offensive, or unlawful content
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other rights
• Attempt to interfere with the platform’s operation

You grant Jedcal LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute any verdle puzzles you submit.

8. Intellectual Property

All site code, design, and branding are owned by Jedcal LLC. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the service without our permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Verdle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jedcal LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be posted on this page, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.
